Sustainability Webinar Series

In celebration of World Environment Day 2020, the Global Shapers Manila Hub organized a three-part Sustainability Webinar Series that took place over three consecutive Fridays, starting on May 22. The goal of the series was to raise awareness by exploring biodiversity with the lenses of youth, political and business leaders in the Age of Information Technology. The three-part series revolved around three pillars: Leadership in Nature, Digital for Environment, and Business for People and Planet. See the Impact Summary Report: Sustainability Webinar Series

Panelists for each pillar included:

• Pillar 1 – Leadership in Nature: Mr. Ludwig Federigan, Executive Director of Young Environmental Forum; Ms. Eah Antonio, National Convenor of 2030 Youth Force in the Philippines; and Reynard Francisco, Project Manager of Sustainable Energy and Enterprise Development for Communities. 
• Pillar 2 – Digital for Environment: The panelists of this pillar are Ms. Ping Manongdo, Country Manager of Eco-Business; Ms. Gian Santos, Managing Director of The Climate Change Corp; and Ms. Sharmainze Lizada, Director-General of Greenducation Philippines.
• Pillar 3 – Business for People and Planet: The panelists of this pillar are Mr. Tim Daniels, Investor Relations Representative for SM Investments Corporation; Ms. Nella Lomotan, Founder of Eco Explorations; and Colin Steley, Operations Director of Stratcon.
